What this site is
Aryaas is an independent publication about South Indian vegetarian cooking. It is not a restaurant, a shop or a booking service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any restaurant or business trading under a similar name, and we cannot take orders, reservations or catering enquiries.
Recipes are provided for general use
Recipes and cooking guidance are published in good faith and are tested before publication, but they are provided for general information. Kitchens, ingredients, equipment and climates vary, and we cannot guarantee a particular outcome in yours.
You are responsible for safe practice in your own kitchen. That includes safe handling of hot oil, correct use of a pressure cooker, food hygiene, and checking ingredients against any allergy or dietary requirement that applies to you or the people you are cooking for. Nothing on this site is dietary, nutritional or medical advice; see our disclaimer.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs and design of this site belong to us, except where stated. You may print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you are very welcome to cook from them, feed people with the results, and link to them.
You may not republish our text or photographs, in whole or in substantial part, on another website or in a publication without written permission. A recipe's underlying method is not something anyone can own, and we make no claim over the idea of cooking dosa; the particular wording and images here are ours.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or use it to distribute anything unlawful.
Third-party links
We link to other sites where they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
