This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on aryaas.restaurant.

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser, so that it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels; where this policy says "cookies" it covers those too.

Cookies we set ourselves

This is a static site. It does not have user accounts, a shopping basket or a login, so it sets very little. Where a cookie is set directly by us it is strictly necessary for the site to function or to remember a preference you have expressed, such as a cookie choice.

Third-party cookies

Advertising. Where display advertising runs, ad networks may set cookies to limit repeat impressions and to measure and target advertising. These are set by the provider under its own policy.

Analytics. Analytics may set cookies to distinguish sessions and measure traffic in aggregate.

Embedded content. Embedded media such as video players can set their own cookies when the content loads. Embedding a piece of media is, in effect, visiting that provider's site.

Where required, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can decline. Whatever you choose, you can control cookies in your browser:

  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Most browsers also offer a private browsing mode that discards cookies when you close the window. Blocking cookies entirely will not break this site's recipes, because reading them does not require any.

Do Not Track

There is still no agreed standard for how sites should respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not build profiles of individual readers regardless of the signal your browser sends.
